Feature recommendations and Re-balancing

Feature - Searching for a stock
Current - One needs to place the "company name" in the text box
Suggestion - Be able to place "company name" or "ticker symbol" in text box

Feature
Current - The default position for "Result" text box for searching a stock is "Pass"
Suggestion - Change default position to "any". This would provide the analyst the opportunity to view the result of the analysis whether it passed or failed.

Re-balancing - I understand the rationale for yearly re-balancing.
An unintended consequence is that a stock that meets the Graham analysis may at some point "fail". Two examples are DIT and BHI. From year to year a stock that is analyzed and passes could actually by the end of the year "fail.

Thank you,
John

Thank you for the suggestions, John!

1. Serenity's search page already supports both stock names and ticker symbols.
Your suggestions have been implemented on the screeners too.

2. The default position of the Result filter has been changed to "any" and the sorting has been adjusted accordingly.
By default, the screener will still first show Defensive, Enterprising and then NCAV stocks that pass Graham's criteria.

3. You are correct. A stock can oscillate across Graham's recommended price even on the same day.
Once a stock has been acquired with Graham's margin of safety, it's up to the investor to decide how much beyond the margin of safety he wants to hold on to it. Graham's recommendation was to switch once something better was available.
